Welcome to Noida Deaf Society
Noida Deaf Society was started with the aim of providing educational and vocational Training to Deaf People in and around Noida.
NDS has set itself a charter to train deaf youth to become employable - focusing on imparting vocational skills and skills that will enable employability.
NDS went about intensive market research and identified skill areas that leverage the inherent qualities in deaf and also enable them to work with the hearing people.
What are the issues concerning the deaf today?
Deafness is often misunderstood as an intellectual disability; whereas the real issue lies in lack of communication being made possible.
There’s a lack of common language; keeping the deaf from mainstream society
Thus, being deaf is all about not having the access to communication.
